The Day the Wait Ended

For years they told us to wait. That wait ended this morning.

For years, those of us paying attention to the UFO conversation have been told to wait. Wait for the right administration. Wait for the right disclosure. Wait for the documents to be reviewed, redacted, declassified, archived, and finally, eventually, released.

That wait ended this morning.

At 9 a.m. Eastern, the Pentagon went live with the first batch of files under a brand new program with a name that sounds like it belongs in a thriller novel. PURSUE, the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters.

The site, war.gov/UFO, dropped 162 files into public view. 120 documents, 28 videos, and 14 images, pulled from the FBI, the Department of Defense, NASA, and the State Department. No clearance required. No FOIA wait list. Just there, on an official government webpage, for anyone with an internet connection.

The conversation just changed. What do you think they finally decided we were ready to see?
