LONG (300 WORDS) — Dan Dillman is a third-generation treasure hunter, investigator of the unexplained, mystic, ancient mysteries theorist, author, filmmaker, and speaker. The Dillman family quest began in the early 1960s with his grandfather Raymond Dillman, a legally blind man from Oakland, California, who refused to accept the limits the world had handed him. For over twenty years Raymond obsessed over the enigmatic Peralta Stone Tablets, and in 1982, after decades of relentless research, he finally cracked the code. He sent his sons John and Paul into the Utah mountains using precise coordinates only he understood. What they found there, ancient Aztec ruins, artifacts, turquoise, gold, signs, symbols, and another stone tablet, established the Dillman family as pioneers in the search for truth and treasure in the American Southwest.

When his uncle Paul made him promise from his hospital bed that he would carry the quest forward, Dan accepted the torch. Today he investigates Montezuma's lost treasure, paranormal phenomena, UFOs and UAPs, cryptids, hauntings, and the spiritual unknown. He has starred on History Channel's Lost Gold of the Aztecs and appeared on Ancient Aliens, Beyond Oak Island, The Proof Is Out There, and The Unxplained. He is the author of Montezuma II Decoded and the director of the documentary Secrets of the Stone Tablets. Through Xzault Media he produces long-form documentary work and the Mysterious X destination conference. Dan also carries a priestess bloodline through his grandmother and identifies as a mystic, bringing a spiritual lens to his investigations. He lives in California with his wife Gina and their children.
