For one day, you're part of the team. Dan and Gina Dillman take you into the field with professional gear, real techniques, and the same methods used in active Bigfoot research. Casts, calls, thermal, trail cams, and the stories of people who chase this for a living.
Join us for a guided field day in the redwoods of Northern California or the deep forests of the Pacific Northwest, where Bigfoot reports stretch back hundreds of years. You will learn the techniques researchers use to identify tracks, evaluate audio recordings, and read habitat signs.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Introduction to the Habitat
We start by teaching you how to read the terrain, identify game trails, recognize natural sound patterns, and rule out the bears, owls, coyotes, and other forest neighbors that get blamed for Bigfoot. Once you know what is ordinary, you can spot what is not.
Track the Legend
Once you know the baseline, we go after what does not fit. Search active report zones, set audio gear, work casting kits when prints appear, and listen at dusk. Hear personal investigation stories from Dan, including encounters that have never been told on camera.
EQUIPMENT WE PROVIDE
CASTING KITS, to preserve and document tracks
PARABOLIC MICS, capture distant vocalizations and forest knocks
THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS, detect heat signatures in dense cover
CALL BLASTERS, broadcast known vocalizations to elicit response
TRAIL CAMERAS, passive monitoring of high-traffic game corridors
IMPORTANT DETAILS
STARTING TIME, early morning meet, full day in the field (TBA at booking)
LOCATION, California redwoods or Pacific Northwest (specific area disclosed at booking)
BRING, sturdy hiking boots, layered clothing, water, snacks, your own backpack
TRANSPORTATION, guests provide their own vehicle to follow Dan to the staging point
RESTROOMS, primitive or none in the field

Each day in the field is unique. We cannot guarantee a Bigfoot encounter. What we can guarantee is real research methods, real habitat, real stories, and a day in the woods you will remember.
